FAQs
What does it mean to be USDA certified?
This means our plant is federally inspected by a government official who is always present during operating hours to ensure the highest American safety and quality standards. Inspectors oversee all processes from slaughter to finished product which ensures all of our meat is safe and delicious.
Where does your meat come from?
All of our livestock is free-range and American-raised in the greater Wyoming area, not far from Yellowstone National Park. All the ranchers we source from follow sustainable farming practices such as grass-fed livestock and regeneratively farmed meats.
What are your ethical practices?
Wyoming Legacy Meats practices ethical practices with our animals, and sources livestock from ranchers whose commitment to animal welfare is their way of life. At slaughter, Wyoming Legacy Meats treats the animal with dignity and care, aware of our responsibility to cause as little distress to the animal as possible. Wyoming Legacy Meats acknowledges the sacrifice these animals make for the continued strength and resilience of the American food supply chain.
What products do you make?

This gives us access to the highest quality meats in the world, which we produce into quality ingredients and products.
